Retreat Specifics

Arrival on Friday, October 12
Please plan on arriving to the Patti Hyde Barclay cabin at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park between 6-7 pm.  Of course we understand that some schedules will not allow you to arrive by 7 pm, but please note that retreat activities will officially begin at 7 pm.  Due to the variation in arrival times, there will be no retreat dinner on Friday night.  Please plan on eating dinner before you arrive.

We are staying at the Patti Hyde Barclay Cabin at YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park  2515 Tunnel Rd, Estes Park, CO 80511.

Please bring a Bible.  You will not need to bring towels, blankets or pillows as these are provided by the retreat center.  High temperatures that time of year are typically in the high 60s and low temperature should be in the mid 30s, so please pack accordingly.  There will be extended time on Saturday for outdoor recreation/hiking if you are interested.

Meals will be provided all day Saturday and Sunday morning breakfast.  We will be enlisting teams of men to help prepare meals, so please plan on helping prep/cook at least one meal, possibly two.  For those who are new to this retreat, often men will bring adult beverages to share… you are welcome to do this, but do not feel obliged.  Please feel free to bring lawn games and indoor games for recreation times.

Departure on Sunday, October 14
Retreat activities will conclude no later than noon on Sunday morning to allow travel time for men returning to homes out of the state and to allow Colorado men time with families on Sunday afternoon/evening.  We will be celebrating Mass on Sunday morning.
